Urban Vision North Staffordshire is an architecture and urban design centre. We work with partners to promote high quality architecture and urban design in and around the North Staffordshire conurbation as a means of:
Bringing about successful physical and economic regeneration, and social inclusion.
Creating a better and more sustainable urban environment.
Improving the image of the area.
Raising the quality of life for the citizens of today and tomorrow.
Established in 2003 to provide support to local authorities and regeneration agencies, Urban Vision has grown quickly to play an important role in North Staffordshire's renaissance. Working together with our funders and stakeholders we provide a diverse range of services including:
Our Flagship design review panel.
Characterisation studies, design briefs, and contribution to statutory planning policy.
Training and education with children, young people, community, built environment professionals and councillors.
Public events to raise awareness and inspire the community and professionals.

We have a small RIBA bookstore offering various publications for purchase.
Our own publication "Living Landscapes" combines historical information about North Staffordshire with photographs from our annual community photographic competitions.
