Learning Outside the Classroom

We believe that every young person should experience the world beyond the classroom as an essential part of learning and personal development, whatever their age, ability or circumstances.

Since our launch in November 2006, more than 1516 organisations and individuals have signed up in support of the Manifesto for Learning Outside the Classroom vision and aims.

The Manifesto leaflet available on our website explains more about our aims, along with some examples of good practice.

We offer practical guidance, resources and CPD modules providing professional and developmental support. Our new Quality Badge will recognise organisations offering high-quality experiences with risk effectively managed.
