Black Environment Network works for full ethnic participation in the built and natural environment. BEN works to link the opportunities that maintstream organisations (Local Authorities, National Trust, BTCV etc) offer with the needs of ethnic groups. We work at both grassroots and policy levels. We produce publications to disseminate best practice.
While we are not an 'educational' establishment we do offer resources for informal learning or to inspire your own teaching.
Venue Type:
Campaign or initiative
Additional info
Our small library offers resources focused on art, heritage, culture and environment. It is open to all, but it is best to call first to arrange a good time to visit as the office can be closed on odd days due to the small number of staff.
Our publications are available on our website where they are free to download. They are also available in hardcopy; the first one is free, but after that there are small charges per publication.
