Windrose Rural Media Trust

Windrose Rural Media Trust is an independent registered charity. Its aim is to use the media - video/television, film and radio - for the benefit of the community, especially in rural areas. One of its main concerns is the effect of current changes on country life. Windrose and its predecessor, Trilith, have created a great many media based projects over the last 26 years, embracing arts, community development, farming, environment, health, local culture and heritage. An important part of its work is the saving and copying of old cine films from Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire so that they can be seen again by the public. This has now become a substantial archive.
