Life on the Eve of War

The Shugborough Estate in Staffordshire is set to stage a unique exhibition to commemorate the start of World War One.

'Life on the Eve of War' will focus on the golden age of the stately home - immediately before the outbreak of war, and just before estates across the land lost their Downton-style grandeur.

Spring Baby Boom

Pig Wash Day

We will be washing pigs every hour throughout the day.

There will also be piggy trails, facts, activities and even piggy baking and butter making. The Rare Breeds Survival Trust will be joining us too.

Half Term Family Activity Week

Sheep

Bank Holiday Animal Racing

  • 26 May 2014 11am-5pm

We will be racing sheep, ducks and guineapigs throughout Monday May 26.

In addition to the fun at the Farm there'll be lots of family things to do across the estate, with dragon themed trails and activities in the Mansion and Servants' Quarters, garden games and dress up scarecrows in the walled garden.
