Family, Familiar: Portraits from the Royal Society of Portrait Painters

  • 22 March — 11 May 2014 *on now

Family; Familiar is a specially curated exhibition of paintings by members of The Royal Society of Portrait Painters. The exhibition will be an intimate collection of portraiture, depicting hidden views and stories in the lives of artists and the people that surround them.

The Royal Society of Portrait Painters was founded in 1892 to encourage the
appreciation, study and practice of the art of portraiture. The exhibition was
organised jointly with the Society.
