Dinosaurium: Reimagined Creatures

  • 11 July — 6 September 2015

This exhibition at Winchester Discovery Centre will have a strong collectors’ theme with a reconstructed antiquarians/collectors/naturalists study, plus a mystery fictional Edwardian collectors specimen jar containing ‘living’ dinosaur. There will also be artist’s work and an exploration of the theory that each generation re-imagines dinosaurs in their own way.

Families brave enough to face the dinosaurs at multiple venues increase their chances to win special prizes. Hampshire Cultural Trust has thrown down the gauntlet and launched its DINO TRACKER map, where visitors can collect footprint stickers at each venue they visit to be in with a chance to win ‘roarsome’ prizes and become the ultimate DINO TRACKER.
