The Northern Potters Association was formed in 1977, to promote and encourage an interest in ceramics thoughout the north. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in ceramics, whether a practising ceramist, student, teacher, gallery owner, or collector. The NPA organises exhibitions and social, educational and cultural events throughout the region.

NPA is a not-for-profit organisation run by a committee of volunteers. Our activities take place at various sites throughout the north, and we have regional groups based in Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cumbria and the North East.
