Alexandra Park is regarded as of national importance and is a Grade 2-listed landscape on the English Heritage Register of Parks and Gardens. It has recently reopened following a restoration project funded by Manchester City Council, Heritage Lottery Fund and various sports bodies.

The Park's Pavilion has been brought back to it's former glory as part of the 5.5m facelift, it sits at the south end of the Park overlooking the newly restored Serpentine Lake. It's run by a private company called the 'Tea Hive', who also got a branch in neighboring ward Chorlton.

Opening hours

The Pavilion is normally open 10 am - 5pm Tuesday to Sunday. For our Pankhurst in the Park event calendar it has extended it's opening hours to midnight.
