East Street Arts (ESA) is a contemporary arts organisation in Leeds. Our mission is to focus on the development of artists through our events programme, professional development and studio/facility provision.

We take a holistic approach to working with artists on a professional level to empower them to realise their potential. ESA operates three sites: Patrick Studios (ESA headquarters), Beaver and Barkston Studios and also run a range of offsite projects.

Heritage Open Days 2014: Cells at GOTH

  • 11 — 14 September 2014

Come and experience the atmosphere of Victorian police cells!

East Street Art members based in studios at GOTH are installing work in the cells, ranging from textile pieces to projections, all responding to the history of the building and area. Historical information will also be available.... cells, police, fire brigade, crime and dignitaries!
