The Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen

guild at 51 cheltenham

The Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen was founded in 1933 with direct links to the Cotswold Arts and Craft Movement.

The Guild runs a programme of exhibitions of members' work throughout the year as well as having a permanent Gallery based in Cheltenham, showcasing and selling members' work.

The Guild values the work of contemporary makers in the same way as it appreciates that of those who have gone before. Through its selection processes the Guild continues this pursuit of excellence as it applies to contemporary work. Applications for Associate membership are always welcome.

A selection of the Manor’s rooms will be furnished by Charlotte Abrahams with contemporary crafts in response to the spirit of Rodmarton, and there will be plenty for children to do at the weekend with craft workshops, puppet shows and bread making opportunities.
