School Development Support Agency

The SDSA has received a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund to deliver a project to commemorate the centenary of the outbreak of World War One. Working with partners, we have developed resources and activities that will enable young people, their families and community groups to engage with an important period in Leicester's past.

Shared Pasts, Shared Futures will help people to explore, record and preserve the culture and experiences of Leicester's inhabitants in the period leading up to and during WW1using oral history, archive footage, media resources and primary sources. Training and support are available.
