Sandhurst and District Corps of Drums Crest

The Sandhurst and Districts Corps of Drums is a local charity established to offer the children and young people of Sandhurst and the surrounding areas an opportunity to take part in a very different type of activity. Its main aim is on building the confidence of its members by way of performance in a traditional military style marching band.

The Drum Corps are currently looking for sponsorship to fund the building of their own rehearsal hall.

Sandhurst Firework Display incl. Sandhurst and District Corps of Drums Last Post Project

Sandhurst and District Corps of Drums Family Arts Festival (incl. The Last Post Project)

Local schools and groups will join the Corps of Drums for a free concert in Sandhurst Memorial Park on Saturday 1st November, either side of a firework display.
Community groups will research and share the stories of local people and places from WW1 and then hold a commemorative event. At every event, the Last Post ceremonial call will be played in a variety of styles to remember someone in their community; not just on bugles but on any instrument from pianos and Banjos to guitars and drums.
Come and have a go at drumming on the Corps of drums recruitment stand.
Historical exhibition in the Sandhurst Town Council Offices.
There are craft events in Sandhurst Library. See web site for details.
