Galerie Resonance is an exciting new Fine Art gallery which opened in Church Gate, Loughborough in March 2007.
It provides a platform for the exposure of vibrant, new and emerging artistic talent in the Midlands, especially the work of new graduates which undoubtedly has a contemporary resonance and unique appeal.
Themed exhibitions run from 4-6 weeks offering artists publicity and opportunity of sale of their work in this wonderful open space.
Closed: Sundays and bank holidays.
As we are situated above the Good News Centre bookshop, we apologize to all wheelchair and disabled people unable to access us at present.
A retrospective of the artwork of Antonia Winsor.
This exhibition is an exploration into the state of an art which has matured significantly over the last 6 years. Antonia has incorporated spirituality and landscape as abiding themes in a quest to unravel our sense of perception, of experience and of memory. Much of her 2D work uses experimental techniques and mixed media application which produces a result that is visually compelling and has a contemporary resonance
For this year, the gallery will be featuring mostly the work of its main contributor Antonia Winsor in an on-going exhibition called Solo. "Although 2007 was a successful year for the gallery in terms of press coverage and sales, as a practising artist I find I need to address my own work first and foremost rather than the job of curating regularly changing exhibitions. It has been great fun though."
