St Margaret's Anfield C of E Primary School

World War I Exhibition.

To commemorate this momentous occasion, we will be hosting an exhibition for pupils, their families, parishioners and local residents.

On display will be a collection of pupils' written work, music, film, posters, photography and artwork.

This includes work from our history week projects which include WWI nurses' shelters and WWI aircraft structures made from willow.

The idea of history week is to totally immerse the children in history and create experiences that mean they will not only develop knowledge but also empathy.
The school will open its doors for people to visit the numerous activities including watching footage of Liverpool during the war years, a World War I interactive iPad experience and a wartime café that will be open for refreshments.

Local artists and the Liverpool PALS memorial fund will also be guests along at this event.

The exhibition will be open between 9.30am-6pm on Thursday, July 3rd and at 9.30am-2pm on Friday, July 4th.

If anybody has any photos, memorabilia or stories that they would like to share then we would love to hear from them.
