Oldham Jutland Service

Oldham Battle of Jutland Service

This is the centenary of the only major naval battle of World War One that took place in the North Sea, off Denmark.

The British lost 14 ships and over 6,000 lives, the Germans lost 9 ships and over 2,500 causalities. Oldham lost 16 men.
