Birmingham Tours set up in 2001 by Heart of England Blue Badge Guide Sue Behan, specialises in providing friendly professional guides for driving and walking tours of Birmingham to make your stay in the city an enjoyable unique experience. We offer private themed coach/bus tours and walks for groups all the year round and the Big Brum Open Top Buz Sightseeing Tour on a seasonal basis.

A live guided exciting adventure through the UK’s second city – the Brummagem tour explores the commercial centre and highlights the global city with a local heart. Following the road to the unique Jewellery Quarter which really emphasises why Birmingham was known as the city of a thousand trades in Victorian times we then travel along Broad Street – the Golden Mile with the Golden Boys. Picking up the highway to leafy Edgbaston – home of Birmingham University and the international cricket ground we link up with the Tolkien trail and the world famous Cardinal Newman Oratory. Finally, entering the city through the Eastside extravaganza we get the full panoramic view of St Martin’s Parish Church and the new state of the art Bullring shopping complex with the iconic building of Selfridges.

In 2014 the bus as a hop on hop off tour by request will be running on a fixed date basis from 26th April to 28th September every weekend at 10.30, 12.30 and 2.30 from Victoria Square, except for the first Sunday of the month from May to October when we become the Museum Heritage Bus linking the community museums of Birmingham City Council.

The tour with a live guide lasts approximately one hour twenty minutes depending on traffic and is the very best way to explore the city.
