Wacton Village Hall

The Wacton Village Hall is a brand new community built building, that has taken 10 years to build, by a group of volunteers in this small community wth a big heart and a lot to share with the wider community.

This Exhibition is an event that willl showcase mant facets of WW1, but will also showcase what volunteers and ordinary people did in their local and wider community; and for us all, how the world at large changed.

A WW1 Commemoration Exhibition running from Friday 1st August to Sunday 3rd August.

This Exhibition is to show as many facets of the 1914-1918 war as possible.

A Timeline of Events, Political, Military, Social, The Role of Women, Children, Rationing, DORA, Animals in war and much more, with some loaned artifacts on display.

The Exhibition will then move to the Mayfields Care Home in Long Stratton, NR15 2UY, from the 4th to the 9th of August.
There are 3 residents who were born in 1917, at this brand new care home.
