Denbigh Museum / Amgueddfa Dinbych was founded as a company limited by guarantee in August 2012 and is a registered charity.

As a newly established museum, it has leased the former magistrates court from the town council and is in the process of obtaining funding to adapt the building as a 21st Century attraction and resource for the town.

Opening hours

The museum is open every Monday afternoon between 1:30-4pm and at other times during the year for specific exhibitions. The Community Archive Group also meet at the museum every Monday 1:30-4pm

By road: from the A55 (jct 27), follow the A525 south to Denbigh and the signs to the town centre. At the traffic lights turn right then first right into Station Road. Follow Grove Road for 300m

By train: The nearest station is Rhyl (12 miles)

By cycle: National Cycle Network Route 5 to Rhyl
