The Winkleigh Singers

The Winkleigh Singers is a chamber choir established in Mid/North Devon and in 2014 is celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of its founding.
The choir is planning a short series of concerts in 2014 in commemoration of the start of the First World War.
Saturday 28th June at 7.30pm: St Michael and All Angels, Torrington
Saturday 26th July, time to be confirmed: St Mary Magdelene, South Molton

FIRST WORLD WAR CENTENARY COMMEMORATION CONCERT

A selection of choral music from throughout Europe sung by North Devon's foremost Chamber Choir with professional orchestra on the exact centenary of the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, the heir to the throne of Austria-Hungary, in Sarajevo on 28 June 1914. Directed in its 30th anniversary year by founder conductor Roland Smith
