All information is drawn from or provided by the venues themselves and every effort is made to ensure it is correct. Please remember to double check opening hours with the venue concerned before making a special visit.

We hold tree-related events throughout the year in Haringey, almost all free of charge, aimed at local residents. People who know nothing or very little about trees are especially welcome.

Our once-every-two-months Tree Walks are a free opportunity to discover more about local street trees. We walk slowly along a few local streets, exchanging knowledge. Some of us do maintenance if needed. Most come to look and learn to identify the trees in streets near where they live

Venue Type:

Association or society

Opening hours

Tree Walks start on the second Saturday of each month at 10am and last an hour. For times of other events see the events section of the website.

Admission charges

All Tree Walks and most events are free of charge. We often publish a Facebook event page we ask that you 'join' and/or email us to let us know that you intend to be there as it helps a lot to know in advance.

Events details are listed below. You may need to scroll down or click on headers to see them all. For events that don't have a specific date see the 'Resources' tab above.

Tree Walk: Highgate

  • 19 October 2014 3-4pm

We’re going to be walking around this estate with its interesting trees, hoping to make a map of them. This will involve making sure we know which tree is which, and that means an exercise in tree identification that will better equip you to recognise trees wherever you are.

Please meet us at 15:00 on Sunday 19 October at the entrance to the estate.
