RHS GARDEN Rosemoor

If you are looking for inspiration and a relaxing day out, come to RHS Garden Rosemoor and stroll around our enchanting 65-acre garden. Rosemoor is a garden of intoxicating beauty, meticulously crafted and planted, retaining the essence of rural North Devon within a dramatic backdrop of steep wooded valley sides.

Whatever the season, the exciting colours, scents and textures mean that all your senses will be stimulated, and with both formal and informal gardens - as well as woodland walks, water features and open spaces - there is something for children and adults alike to enjoy time and again.

Last admission is one hour before closing.

The Robin Herbert Visitor Centre is open all year.

One carer or companion is admitted free of charge per wheelchair user, visually impaired visitor or other person whose disability necessitates a carer.

Please note: Dogs are not allowed in the garden. The only exceptions are guide dogs.

Getting there

Exit the M5 Southbound Exit at Junction 27, and join the A361 link road signposted Barnstaple/Bideford. At Barnstaple join A39 signposted Bideford (Atlantic Highway), keep heading towards Bideford on the A39 until you reach a roundabout signposted to Great Torrington (B3232). Take this road and follow it into Great Torrington. RHS Garden Rosemoor is signposted at Great Torrington and is situated 1 mile south on the A3124 road which heads towards Exeter. Car parking is free.
By bus

Bus 315 runs from Barnstaple and Bideford through to Exeter and back. When arriving by bus present your valid ticket at the entry point and have your entry fee reduced by £2. Ring Traveline for up-to-date bus information on 0870 608 2608.

By rail
Closest station is Barnstaple (12 miles)

By bike
Open air bike parking facilities are provided. When you travel to Rosemoor by bike we offer a £2 discount on the garden entry fee.
