Birmingham Bach Choir has contributed to the cultural life of Birmingham and the West Midlands for over 90 years. We are a large chamber choir, rehearsing under the direction of distinguished conductor and composer, Paul Spicer. We sing music from all centuries specialising in Baroque and 20th Century music. We give three major concerts each year with many other lively musical activities.

We are engaged in delivering a major commission,'Unfinished Remembering' a new choral symphony by Paul Spicer and poet, Euan Tait. This will performed next year to commemorate the centenary of the First World War.

Unfinished Remembering

  • 13 September 2014 7:30-10pm

Unfinished Remembering is a new choral symphony by Paul Spicer with words by Euan Tait. It is dedicated to heroes in every generation. It will be premiered in the Symphony Hall Birmimngham in September 2014. Also in the progarmme will be 'Dona Nobis Pacem' by Vaughan Williams and 'A Shared Singing', a new national song by Tait and Spicer to be performed by a military choir.

We are delighted to be working with the Orchestra of the Swan and charismatic young soloists in this exciting event. We hope to fill the Symphony Hall with an audience form far and wide and from all walks of life who wish to mark this historic occasion in a unique and memorable way.
