Help for Heroes 4x4 European Rally

The award winning HELP for HEROES 4x4 EUROPEAN RALLY has raised over £820,000 since 2010. The 2015 event will commemorate the Centenary years of WW1 and the 70th Anniversary of the end of WW2. The rally follows the path and tells the story of the 1944/5 WWII Allied Invasion through Europe also pass through the ‘Western Front’ and Maginot Line of WW1.

This family friendly non-speed battlefield touring assembly of 45 vehicles will visit Normandy, The Somme and Ypres, Arnhem, Bastogne, Alsace and Dachau Concentration Camp; with its horrors of war. Journey’s end is Hitler's Alpine "impenetrable" Eagles’ Nest, Berchtesgaden, Bavaria.

Help for Heroes 4x4 European Rally

This non-speed 12-day rally uses 4x4s and follows the 1944/5 Allied Invasion Route through Europe and includes elements of WW1. The learning journey starts in Wiltshire, visits an RAF base and then Southwick House before embarking to France. On mainland Europe the rally entourage visits sites of military history significance - Normandy, The Somme, Ypres, Arnhem, Bastogne, Alsace (Maginot Line), Dachau and ends at Hitler's Eagle's Nest high in the Bavarian Alps.
Serving and ex-military take part as well as civilians and families. All the cars are tracked by satellite - allowing the rally children to link with their schools in the UK.
