Open space oasis in the heart of suburbia. Historic parkland, with meadows, wetlands and a network of waterways. Fragrant and colourful rose garden with over 2,000 roses (May-Sept). Local craft workshops – including potter, carvers, furniture restorer, artist in residence and handmade card maker.

Renovated Snuff Mill Environmental Education Centre with new features, information and interactive displays. Open lst Sunday of each month from April–Oct, 12–4. Free family explorer packs available for loan.

Discover how we renovated our stable yard with innovative energy schemes and be inspired by our exhibition to be greener in your own home. Throughout the day join short tours including London's first Archimedes Screw Turbine. At 11:00 and 13:30 we are running 1½ hour behind the scenes tours of some of our historic buildings. This event is in partnership with the 100% renewable electricity company, Good Energy, and sustainable energy charity, Centre for Sustainable Energy.
