The Copped Hall Trust
The Copped Hall Trust
Copped Hall is a fine Georgian mansion that is currently under restoration. It is superbly sited on a ridge overlooking its landscaped parkland. The mansion is visible from the M25 which passes through a corner of the park.
The mansion and gardens are situated on a site of ancient human habitation. Important buildings were demolished when the present mansion was built.

A Celebration of The State Rooms at Copped Hall
- 16 May 2015 6-9pm
For the second year running visitors are able to experience the circuit of state rooms on the principal floor of Copped Hall which would have been very much a part of guests’ experience at grand social occasions in the 18th century.
To celebrate this achievement, the Trust is recreating a social occasion to illuminate some of the aspects of how the rooms might have been used soon after the mansion was completed in 1758. For example 18th century music will be played and there will be further illustrations of 18th century living in the other state rooms. All the shutters will be closed and the rooms lit by candlelight.
There will be 18th century refreshments and a licensed bar.
