St Bartholomew's Church

We are creating a special book of remembrance which will give as much detail as can be found of all soldiers killed 1914-1918 whose names appear on the local war memorial. A special service of commemoration will take place with other organisations from our village on Sunday, 27th July 2014.

Marsden History Society will be providing an exhibition of local village life during the years of World War I, alongside the chronology of events on a national level. Invitations have been sent to local dignitaries.
