WOW is an award-winning youth musical theatre group based in Weymouth, Dorset. WOW is very well respected in the community and has built a following for its high standards and commitment to helping young people aged between 10 and 18 to achieve their goals and develop their personal qualities.

For the First World War Centenary WOW is staging a series of outdoor performances of the iconic musical O What A Lovely War! at the historic Nothe Fort.

WOW performs at least two large-scale musicals each year as well as a number of cabaret spots for local charities. These provide high quality entertainment to audiences in smaller venues, from village halls to day centres, often in support of other charities’ fund-raising.

Admission charges

Typical ticket prices for a full musical are £13.50 adults and concessions £10.50 (on selected performances).

Getting there

The Fort is located at the end of the Nothe Peninsula on the opposite side of the harbour to the main beach. The routes for motorist are signposted on road signs (brown attraction direction signs).

For satellite navigation the postcode is DT4 8UF

The route for pedestrians is signposted by the ornate pedestrian signposts sited throughout the town.
