The Late Shows: Have a Go on the Wheel

  • 16 May 2015 7-11pm

The Pottery Studio will be in full swing again with the public invited to have a go at making a pot on the ‘wheel.’ Plus, you’ll be able to make pots entirely by hand or craft decorative tiles out of clay, with the option of having your work glazed and fired for collection later. All of this is complemented by an exhibition of art and ceramics. The Pottery Studio and Gallery is located in an attractive courtyard that 1800 years ago was the courtyard of a Roman Milecastle. Some of it is still visible! The Milecastle and wild gardens will be attractively illuminated, adding to the festive atmosphere.
