14th-century great hall with an immense, locally-timbered roof. Lovely crooked gatehouse and ruined Norman chapel. Miles of park and woodland to explore, with a rich variety of wildlife, from dormice to buzzards. See the wooden sculptures on woodland walks.

Brockhampton Summer of Archaeology Project - Excavation

As part of the 'Summer of Archaeology', this is your chance to become involved in the archaeological excavations at Lower Brockhampton and aid in the investigation of the site's medieval origins. See the archaeologist at work and join in during the weekends. From excavating, recording, handling finds and sieving there's plenty of things you can get involved with.
