"The King Returns" King James I Anniversary Event

We are celebrating the royal visit of King James I to Hoghton Tower in 1617 by holding a weekend-long event filled with reenactments and even the opportunity to meet King James himself! This event has been kindly funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and we have been working with renowned history group History Needs You who will be helping to make this weekend memorable.
