Middleport Pottery, home to Burleigh ware is the last working Victorian Pottery in the UK. It was acquired by The Prince's Regeneration Trust in June 2011 and is now a wonderful visitor attraction. With a beautiful cafe along the canal side and plenty for people to see and do. With various events and activities on the go there's something for everyone. Whether it be the love of pottery and history or getting creative with clay and other materials, we have something for everyone.

Visitor Centre opening times:
Monday - Closed
Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 5pm
Sunday 10am - 4pm
cafe Opening times:
Monday - saturday - 9am - 4pm
The Vistor Centre is now open and free of charge. There is a small fee of £6 per Adult and £5 for Concessions for factory tours.

Take a break from the Christmas rush. Relax Victorian style and let The Full Circle Magic Lantern Show entertain you. Ever wondered what Victorian Potters did for entertainment? Magic Lantern shows were a very popular evening out - a big screen extravaganza which was a precursor to the movies. Why not try it for yourself?
