DSLR photography for beginners

  • 7 November 2015 10:30am-12:30pm

A concise, 4 week beginner’s introduction to your DSLR camera. Starting with the absolute basics, you’ll soon be avoiding Auto, managing your menus, and composing with confidence. You’ll be shown the settings you need and the settings you should avoid, how to focus on what YOU want to focus on, working with light (ambient and flash), white balance, adjusting your exposure, choosing the right file type/size, and how to easily improve your composition. We will end the course with an overview of how to make the most of your photographs with widely available photo-editing software. This course is suitable for DSLR cameras only (and not bridge/hybrid cameras). If you’re unsure about the suitability of your camera for this course, please get in touch with the tutor directly by email (fotofiliastudio@gmail.com). 4 week course ending on Saturday March 21st 2015.
