Portland Sculpture and Quarry Trust

The Drill Hall Gallery, Studios and Stone Workspace is an arts, science, research and project space to create, test out and present work ( installations, live performance, projections, artists talks, residencies, seminars ) and carry out commissions, with fully equipped Stone Workspace and technical support available.

The Drill Hall is connected to Stone Carving and Sculpture Courses in Tout Quarry Sculpture Park & Nature Reserve’s unique landscape, with vantage points where sculpture, geology, ecology and industry meet - within Portland Quarries Nature Park, located geologically and geographically at the centre of the Dorset and East Devon Coast World Heritage Site.

Drill Hall Gallery during exhibitions - Tuesday / Wed / Thurs / Friday - 11am to 4pm. Saturday / Sunday - 12noon - 4.30pm. (or phone to view by appointment) Closed Monday.

Stone Workspace - Working hours Monday to Friday 9.30am - 6pm. Saturday / Sunday 11am to 4pm. (phone to arrange a time to visit or use the workspace)

Admission charges

Drill Hall Gallery - Admission Free (unless otherwise stated in Exhbition details). Donations welcomed - Portland Sculpture & Quarry Trust is an educational charity and registered for Gift Aid.

Stone Workspace - Admission Free to Viewing. Daily facility fee for use of space, equipment and technical support.
