This extraordinary collection of true tales reveals Jewish Londoners in the grip of bitter feuds and hilarious crossed wires, as ordinary family life lurches from outrageous farce to tragic violence. Using verbatim accounts, four actors bring to life a gallery of real characters with amazing honesty and authenticity.

- a 91-year-old barber remembers a racist punch-up
- a gay Israeli man finds happiness in London
- a woman in her 80’s recalls dangerous street games
- an Orthodox Rabbi recounts the liberation of Belsen
- and hear how a 1970s Medallion Man set up a suburban spanking club

By transferring from Wilton’s in the heart of the East End to JW3 on the Finchley Rd, this production mirrors the journey of London's Jewish community from immigrant poverty to suburban assimilation.
