Cubitt's main aims are: To provide an exhibitions and events space managed by the artists in order to establish a vibrant environment for creative practice and dialogue. By working together, we hope to foster a broad range of knowledge and expertise.

To develop creative links with similar organisations regionally, nationally and internationally. Cubitt considers international exchange to be essential to the comprehensive of contemporary visual culture. Through links established with similar organisations, Cubitt is contributing to the support network and infrastructure of visual arts practice in Great Britain.

To maintain independence as an artist-run space whilst pursuing objectives with a high degree of professionalism.
