A distinctive former 200 year old cotton spinning mill, Islington Mill is an inspirational building that is both useful and productive for artists and the public, creating a unique blend of incubation, production and exposition for Salford and the UK. Housing 50 studios for designers, artists and makers, alongside a contemporary gallery space, club/gig space and an artist run B&B, the Mill is a centre for artists’ production and experimentation as well as having a diverse programme of activity.
