Heritage Open Days 2014: Dalton Castle

  • 13 — 14 September 2014

14th century tower, formely the manorial court house of Furness Abbey. Much altered over the years, but now contains a small exhibition room with local memorabilia and dungeon with glass viewer in floor. Larger Great room upstairs, with additional exhibition about the artist George Romney.
