Chieftan Main Battle Tank

The Norfolk Tank Museum is a small, independent museum of Cold War military vehicles, uniforms and artefacts. We are a not-for-profit organisation. Any monies raised or contributions made will be spent on the continuing refurbishment and modernisation of the museum grounds and the restoration and expansion of our Collection there is an opportunity to experience inside the turret of a Saladin Armoured Scout Car and a Chieftain Main Battle Tank. There is extensive parking with access to the popular Tas Valley Way walk, picnic and children’s play area with bouncy castle, tea hut (serving teas, coffee, cold drinks and freshly made cakes) and BBQ. Full disabled access.

Opening hours

The museum is open 1st and 3rd Sundays from Easter to July
Every Saturday and Sunday in Augustt.
1st and 3rd Sundays September to October.
Opening times are 10am to 5pm.

Admission charges

Adults £6 per person, accompanied children under 12 FREE, Children £3.00 up to 16 years.
