Moat Park Heritage Centre Biggar
Here you will find models of Clydesdale’s past from geological times to the 18th century. You may encounter an Iron Age family or one of the Roman soldiers who were the scourge of the ‘locals’ whose fortified houses of many ages can be seen on display. Observe the live bees (in season), appreciate the fascinating finds of the archaeology team, admire the many genuine costumes on display and the unique ‘Menzies Moffat’ tapestry.
