The Brink is an innovative new social venue, just on the edge of Liverpool’s bustling bar and club scene. You could say we’re also on the leading edge of an exciting trend, in that we don’t serve alcohol - we believe a great time is better fuelled by people, and their creative spirited energy. Just off the beaten track on Parr Street, and open throughout the day and into the early hours, The Brink is the perfect place for anyone who wants an experience of something a bit different. The Brink is for those who want all the fun and delights of a great night out but without drugs and alcohol in the mix. So join us for a big slurp of aliveness.

Make Your Mark

  • 16 May 2014 7pm-12am

Make Your Mark is
to make a stand, have a go and be bold, underpinned by positive passion.

For LightNight a diverse mix of practicing artists and performers will collaborate with groups from different backgrounds to create a vibrant LightNight showcase.

The collaborations will take place both inside & outside of the venue with a service user’s group exhibition curated by Leon Jakeman, performance - written/spoken word, poetry, singing and hip-hop by host Nikki Blaze & Writing On the Wall Festival guests - with another element of a live graffiti from Zap Graffiti Arts. The evening will finish off with a DJ where all unite.

From the unselfconscious celebration, the seeds of creativity are sown to promote well-being and community alike. The Brinks ethos 'what we make makes us' is a perfect platform promoting positivity and well-being to a wide audience who fancy doing something different. This is a LightNight event, Liverpool's one-night arts & culture festival. Part of Museums at Night.. Visit for more details and the full programme.
