Arlington Court is an impressive Regency house with a vast collections of artefacts from paintings to pewter and ships to shells. Set in grounds of 2700 acres with formal gardens, woodland and a lake it's a walkers paradise. The Carriage Museum holds over 50 pieces reflecting the human journey from the cradle to the grave. The estate is also home to a working stables which runs carriage rides during the main visitor season. The Outdoor team help to care for a wealth of animals including Shetland ponies, Jacob sheep and Red Devon cattle, as well as our colony of bats.

WW1 Poppy Display

In commemoration of the centenary of the Great War, Devon crafters have created an amazing poppy display which will be touring around Devon.

Visitors will have the chance to buy their own textile poppy and write their own memories, with donations going towards the work of the Royal British Legion.

Sheep

Animal Afternoon

Meet the animals who lives and work at Arlington from our Red Devon cattle, to the Jacob sheep, Shetland ponies, peacocks and more. Find out about why they're here and how they help us manage the estate.

Dogs on leads welcome but kept away from animals. We care about the welfare of our animals, so are planning this afternoon to be informative rather than soley a petting opportunity.
