Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal to Brimham Rocks Circular

We've teamed up with British Cycling this summer to host a series of amazing bike rides that will take you through some fantastic scenery here at Fountains Abbey and around North Yorkshire.

If you're fairly confident on your bike, and ready to broaden your cycling horizons, this steady 14 mile ride with some modest hills is ideal. It's suitable for ages 8+ (children aged under 15 will need an adult with them). This guided ride is free and led by a trained leader, so join us this summer to get on your bike!

Heritage Open Days 2014: Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal

Join us at Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal as we celebrate our rich history this year.

Come and strut your stuff in period costume, dabble in a few garden games with friends and family or seek out hidden follies on a trail of discovery. There'll also be some craft activities for you to get stuck in to, and families can have a romp around in our play area, build a den in our natural play area or try spotting some feathery friends in our bird hide. It's free entry all day - enjoy!

Bug Box Making
