Heritage railway centre with original Southern Railway 70ft turntable. Visitors can see main line steam turned and serviced from special viewing platform. Regular Steam Train Days with Miniature Railway with demonstrations of turntable from March to October with special events (see website for details) and Santa Specials in December.
Visitor Centre (with refreshments) is in 1864 built Great Western Railway Transfer Shed (part Grade II listed) with display of railway artefacts. Shed originally used to transfer goods from Broad to Standard Gauge.
Shop open Sunday mornings (10am to noon) and during events.
