Archaeology fun day at Museum in the Park, Stroud

Try your hand at excavation in our mini digs, learn all about stratigraphy and identifying and sorting your archaeological finds. Plus a special archaeology themed mini-display in the museum.


Acton Court Archaeology Tour

  • 25 July 2015 7-9pm

Rob Bell, the archaeologist who directed the excavation works at Acton Court, will conduct an evening tour of the house and grounds, focusing on the archaeology and the study of the standing building. Rob is co-author of the English Heritage monograph on the Evolution of Acton Court.
