Highlands, Lowlands and Places in between. Liz uses the wet felting method to convey a vivid sense of reality through the use of a sumptuous variety of natural fibres to obtain a delicate palette of colour to capture the purity of light in Findhorn in East Scotland.
From the Majesty of the Highlands of West Scotland to the peace of Findhorn in the North East of Scotland, Liz had explored landscapes, grassland, meadows and grazing animals in her work and has used textiles to enhance the images through the colour and the texture of a diverse range of natural fibres.

- 14 May — 27 June 2015
21 artists from Artspace Loughborough interpret the title 'Beyond Words'. Artists were encouraged to respond in their own way. Many have been inspired by the memories of emotions beyond words whether this is the memory of an intense experience like swimming underwater, or a reaction to the beauty of nature, or observing other people's relationships. Some are reactions to our social media and mobile phone-observed world. One artist has painted her surprising feeling of peace during a period when she couldn't speak! Some works will contain actual words as part of the visual experience.

Balcony Gallery - Colours of Summer
- 2 June — 26 September 2015
A collection of paintings to encapsulate the promise of summer. Lyn leaves the dim darkness of winter to travel to the freshness of the newly planted and emerging early gardens and then onto the tropical colours of hot summer borders. From small pots of Auriculas to fields of flowers, her paintings sing with vibrant colours and the textures of plant life.
This passion for flowers is reflected in a sympathetic blend of light and colour which she imbues in her paintings. Lyn creates loose sensitive watercolours which, alongside spontaneous and strong acrylic canvasses, capture a sense of immediacy and isolates an unforgettable moment in time.
