Staffordshire Record Office

Staffordshire Record Office is part of the Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Archive Service, and is the main record office for the historic county of Staffordshire.

Our collections have been Designated as outstanding. They include records of local government, Anglican parishes and nonconformist churches, landed families and estates, public institutions such as courts, schools and hospitals, charities, businesses, local clubs and societies.

Our searchrooms are open to all, and our friendly and knowledgeable staff help to facilitate research into family history, local and community history, and a range of themes in national and world history.
