The Holy Jesus Hospital is a hidden Gem in the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne with over 700 years of history to explore. Home to an Augustinian Friary, an Alms House, a soup Kitchen and a Tudor Tower the site covers a wide period of history.

Currently used for the Inner City Project's base, which is a youth and community project, we still offer monthly tours of the building and weekly showings of our exhibition room.

Occasionally we run special events: join our Facebook page under Octavia Hill's name to keep updated.
