The Cockleshell Heroes

9 November 2012 — 10 November 2013 *on now

This exhibition tells the story of Operation Frankton, one of the most daring and dramatic missions of WWII and the 13 young men who would later be known as ‘The Cockleshell Heroes’. It is hoped that it will go some way to commemorating the bravery of Stockport’s James Conway and the other men who so proudly served their country.
