World War One and its legacy. the writings of Winifred Holtby and friends.

Holtby was shelled in Scarborough 1914, and served in a womens unit in France. Her war experiences deepend her bonds with the war scarred V.A.D nurse Vera Brittain and others. Talk by John Dean.
