Clapton Library was refurbished and reopened in 2011.
The renovation project marks the next chapter of the Edwardian neo-classical building, which first opened on 17 January 1914, just before the start of World War One.
There is a striking extension which provides more space and comfort than previously, better access and improved private study area,meeting room for hire, quiet reading areas and Teen Zone.
Free wi -fi and study area with15 computers for public use and many online learning resources.
The library is equipped with self-service technology, which gives customers the option to issue and return items themselves.
Mon, Tues, Thurs 10am - 8pm, Wed 1pm - 6pm, Fri 10am - 6pm, Sat 10am - 5pm. Closed Sunday.
No charges or booking required to visit or join the library.
